At the age of 14 the founder became fascinated by higt quality furniture making. He began a 7 year training course in cabinetmaking, then advanced in marquetry, following the courses of the famous author and professor of the école BOULLE in Paris, Pierre Ramon, a former cabinetmaker at the Palace Of Versailles.
Today, thaks to more than 30 years of experience and « savoir-faire » together with knowledge of botany, chemestry and drawing, « Sylvain BULOT, Marqueterie d'Art » is an outstanding brand for the restoration of antique and fine-art furniture.
